Supporting the board to develop a position on its risk appetite, identifying key risks, seeking assurances to mitigate risk and reviewing the Risk Register accordingly.
Undertaking appraisals, facilitating away days and bespoke training sessions.
Worked with the Regeneration Team and Technical Services to ensure greater cooperation takes place with the handover of new developments and minimising defects and future repair costs . The areas identified for improvement included component standardisation, design and build contract specification, the quality of design/site/project meetings, supply chain agreements, warranties, data transfer at handover and feedback on the employers requirements.
